Everybody wants to see God do a miracle, but nobody wants to be in the position where they need a miracle. Today’s guest, Dr. Jason Baca, said this and it like literally twinges everything inside of me. The recognition that we’re always in prayer or maybe we’re not, but we should be.

But even when we are, maybe we’re praying for the wrong thing. Maybe you were praying for something you can’t yet handle. He has experienced the pinch of poverty. He has experienced the worry and the potential fear of what’s next. Even leap of faith after leap of faith, and even being homeless at some point, not a dollar to his name, he and his wife collectively have been able to establish a life of faith.

nAbout Dr. Jason:n

From ABQ, NM. Got saved at 18 years old (During which time I was technically a drug dealer). Went to Bible College in TX. MA in Communication – Film, Television. Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. Married almost 11 years. 3 babies ages 4 and under. Tried and failed in business starting at age 21 with co-owning/operating a Quiznos franchise and have been many other things since then, most of which have been business failures.

Have lived a life of a “missionary” with my wife, Kellie, throughout most of our marriage as we have 8 times altogether quit our jobs, gave away everything we owned, and moved to a new city God was calling us to with no money, no jobs lined up, no place to stay, hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, and still responsible for other people (parents, children, etc.) Although it’s been a really hard journey so far, God has been faithful, and not a day has gone by we haven’t had what we needed when we needed it. There are too many miracles to count. 🙂

Now, I teach part-time in a graduate school of business at a Christian university and help business owners and entrepreneurs fix their funnels and create marketing that converts so they can finally break through to building the business they believe God has for them to build.
